I am spending the day with my folks. My mom is making the turkey this year - should be great.

My plan is to not celebrate it. We don't have it in Europe. :P

You could always be the first to try it. Who knows, it may catch on!
What always amuses me every Thanksgiving Day is that there is some poor soul that either burns himself or his house when he tries to deep-fry a turkey. I've never had fried turkey... sounds good. Then again, pretty much anything fried is good.

I have friends in the medical world and they tell me Black Friday is crazy for them in the emergency room
Edit: Deep fried turkey is beyond amazing
I'm pretty sure a deep fried boot would taste good. What always amuses me every Thanksgiving Day is that there is some poor soul that either burns himself or his house when he tries to deep-fry a turkey. I've never had fried turkey... sounds good. Then again, pretty much anything fried is good.

going up to see my folks, then I am going to cook allllllll day. I cant wait!!! I Love cooking thanksgiving meals.
Going to make the stuffing (sausage and apple stuffing with pecans), take the turkey out of the brine (the secret to making a good turkey is to brine it for a night) and toss it in the oven, mash the potatoes, make the pies, and make my special cognac gravy
Also going to watch some football, maybe go to an Oakland Raiders game, and take a trip into the city
My wife and I are hosting so my plan is to not kill anyone.spazzx625
How many people do you anticipate arriving at Chez Spazz?
I'm from Canada, so we already celebrated Thanksgiving. For American Thanksgiving I'll be watching NFL football :)

it is. It is my favorite holiday. Well, second to Christmas I guess.
Nothing really...just sitting around no doubt watching some movies and perhaps some gaming to while the hours away.

Thursday - get high, go to Queens to eat til I can't take anymore, maybe drink, and watch alot of movies with the family hoping none of them smell me...
Black Friday - go hunt down King of Fighters XIII and see if I can get a deal on it for cheap...
Saturday - play King of Fighters XIII til I master three characters to form a solid team - then work on the fundamentals of that team to perfection...
Sunday - go back to Brooklyn hopefully with some leftovers and eat the Thanksgiving food from my house...

I'm going to watch other people fatten themselves up, a la Hansel and Gretel. When they pass out, I get to shove them in the oven. >.>AllicrombieTaking turducken one step further?
