What are your thoughts on tattoo's?

Whats your intake on people having tattoo's :?

Some are fine, most are hideous, a few are spectacular. One or two is good; tattoos all over the body are gross. Tattoos on the gentials is gross.

I like them. I plan on getting a few myself.

I want a tattoo that says愚か者 on the back of my neck.

i love' em. i have two myself (one on my elbow and half sleeve soon to turn into a full)

I don't like them on the face, neck, or hands. Anywhere else is cool.

Because it looks awesome and I love angels.

As long as the tattoo is meaningful to the person who has it, it's fine. When people get tattoos just to look "cool" then that is just extremely lame, for example: tribal tattoos.

Tattoos are more often than not, a permanent reminder of a fleeting moment.

Rarely ever saw one I thought was worth getting.

They are essentially attention getters, so people can either ask about the tattoo or have people tell them it's a cool tattoo.

Never really understood the purpose of them.

I think tattoos are cool... Unles one doesn over do it... I have one and you can see it here. Ifu wan to that is ;)

I say "to each their own".. they don't bother me one way or another. As someone said, some look great, some look lile crap. What ever someone does to their body is totally up to them.

My father and sister want to get tattoos at some point and every time I hear them talk about it I just want to facepalm.

A really want to get one, but I refuse to unless it is something that really has significant meaning to me. No nerdy tattoos or Chinese symbols or tribal patterns or barbed wire for me, thank you.

I think they are great, don't care what it is or where

I know. Chinese symbols are SO overdone. Or any foreign language.

It's like they are begging to be mysterious and prompt people to ask 'Hey, whats your tattoo mean?'
