Seriously, I like how people get antsy when religion comes up in politics but then it's fine for them to go "anyone who believes this/that/the other that has nothing to do with politics shouldn't be VP/President."

Witches are indeed still around. They have a huge presence in Africa and my grandmother and great grandmother practiced witchcraft. We may not be living in the middle ages but they are definatlty still around.

It could be more reasonable to suppose that a person who believes witches don't exist are unfit to lead a country, as that person is clearly ignorant of the world.
Witches Theo? Really? I hope the confused face answers my ? I'm always antsy when religion mixes with politics. It's a personal matter, not a government matter. I do get your point, who was it, Dennis Kuchinish (SP) who said he believed in UFO's and was laughed off the Democratic debates. But religion is a major common theme in the US, and every single person has a different view of it, even if slightly so. Which is why I wish they'd all just keep it to themselves. I could care less about Palin's preacher, or Obama's. That's their business.

The reason why you find it so far-fetched is because you picture witches with pointy hats and stupid cauldrons; real witches look like any other person and don't perform ridiculous spells like in story books. It's an entire culture.
