I have no idea what you're saying, do you want bands that are good, or bands that are awful?

The Eagles were the only band that sounded straight up studio quality, and they were switching instruments all show long..:o

Metallica was really good..

But the best live show I have been to is Swollen Members.

You know who sucks live? Goo goo Dolls. I don't even know why I saw them twice in my life. They just play the hits which goes to show that they aren't a good band.

i've watched kiss concerts on vh1 classic and they change their songs too much. i saw AC/DC in november, they were great. all their songs sound like the original recordings (except for the fact it's not Bon singing).

Yngwie Malmsteen and DragonForce are incredible live. Unfortunately a lot of people think the Force are bad live due to 16 second mobile phone videos on YouTube.

Kills as in bad? Dragonforce, /thread

Kilss as in good? The Fall of Troy, their guitarist/singer is just ridiculous to watch live (does crazy riffs while singing and making it look like a four year could do it).

Velvet Revolver was probably the best mainstream rock show I've ever seen. Scott Weiland is a showman, its a shame they're over.

I remember going to Breaking Ben shows when they were still a local band around here, I was like 13 or 14. They were probably the first local band that actually sounded good live around here.

No. He linked to a nearly 6 minute live performance, captured in a studio with professional cameras and sound equipment. And "The Force"
didn't sound so hot.

haha no lol, I went with my parents because I needed to spend some quality time with them. God that was a mistake!

They were slow, instrumentals were downsized, no energy. The drummer used a small snar drum because of arthritis or something. They had to bring in alot of extra talent to make it work, even then It still failed........

From the special edition Indestructible CD with a few live tracks, Disturbed really good live. (their coming to my town actually. But I'm scared I'd get squished if I went)
Avenged Sevenfold seems good live. And I think they say Iron Maiden is great live.

"A Little Piece of Heaven" Live by Avenged Sevenfold. Warning for language and lyrical content... I guess.
Edit: Everyone in the band sings in that song. The drummer seems to get a little tired during his parts. Thats understandable, though. :P

ZZ Top is still excellent live. Also Black Label Society puts on a really good show. Metallica was awesome as well, but Lars' drumming very sloppy and skipped to the wrong part of one song, causing the whole band to stop. It was funny though cause James took a couple shots at him after the song  Also I saw The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and the Dropkick Murphys last summer and both bands SLAYED.

True, and I'm not saying they're perfect. But the whole "Force are bad live" thing is blown way out of proportion. Whenever it comes up in discussion it's always the same videos being circulated.

Museare just Godly live and I NEED to see them at some point.

Static-X was awesome live thanks to all the energy they had going.

Ozzy Osbourne STILL rules live.

Breaking Benjamin sounds great live.

Puddle of Mudd started out a little bad but after the first song they kicked much ass.

Lamb of God is beast live, especially their Wall of Death...Damn, that stuff is just crazy. In Flames is also good, but they never play around here. Metallica used to be good, but Lars always screws up and plays lazily.

The short lived Nirvana had very good concerts and at the end of them they would also destroy the instruments. Nirvana's MTV Uplugged is just a win.

I recently saw Mudvayne and Nonpoint. Both very good. But, Chevelle and Nine Inch Nails were awesome.

I'm going to see Slipknot in about a month. So, I'll get back to ya on how good they are, but I've heard their kick-arse. :)

slayer is always good, iron maiden is always good, i saw iced earth and was pretty happy. metallica was also pretty good but they play a lot of their mainstream songs, but hearing creeping death , blackened and master of puppets along with hit the lights and seek and destroy, it almost made up for hearing nothing else matters and a couple of the not soo good death magnetic songs.
