i would buy the audi tt 2.0 tfsi.
A black 2004 Saturn L300 V6. I'd like to trade it in toward one of the new Chevrolet Volts whenever they're released.
As the need for a car for me and my parents (where I happen to live atm) is just above zero, I'm driving a Opel Zafira, 2000 model. What surprises me is that it has air vents(or whatever it is called again) for people in the back seat as well. I've driven several newer and much more expensive cars that do not have that.

@bforrester420:
So I took delivery of the new car this weekend. Prior to posting pics, I'm challenging @foxhound_fox and @bforrester420 to a small wager. Here are the terms:
-If I'm lying/bluffing/trolling or I post pics of a Prius, I will voluntarily ban myself from posting on these forums for the rest of CY2015.
-If I'm not lying/bluffing/trolling and I post pics of the R35 with my username written with the date, keys, instruction manual, etc., you BOTH will voluntarily ban yourselves from posting on these forums for the rest of CY2015.
So what say you? Shall we play? I anxiously await your responses...
You could just prove it an be done with it.
Trying to turn this into some sort of bet makes me think you don't actually own one, and know someone who does, and will just borrow their keys and stuff to get the picture.
@foxhound_fox: Ohhhhh, desperation, I love it!
I didn't see an answer in your reply. A simple yes or no will suffice. I await...
Bought a 2008 Mazda 3 last year. Loving it. A tremendous upgrade from the gas guzzler I was driving before.

I don't know...there's the possibility that you know where a R35 is parked regularly, or you know someone that owns one, and you can just get a pic. How about this: screen shot of your dealer's invoice from when your purchased the GT-R along with your username. I want to know that's it's yours, and it's new. Of course, you can redact any personal information from said document.
I'm skeptical that anyone on these boards owns a $100,000 car. If you do own a GT-R, I'm positively green with envy, as that's the one car I would want above all others.
@BassMan: That's not how this works. A simple yes or no from @foxhound_fox and @bforrester420 will get the wheels rolling. By the way, @BassMan, would you like to get in on our game? If so, post yes if you think I'm lying.
I sense hesitation due to self doubt so let me propose an alternate arrangement. If I'm lying/bluffing/trolling and you all call me on it, instead of a yearlong ban, I will post in my signature "I got pwned hard by <ALL THREE OF YOUR USERNAMES>; see link below (link will be to this thread)." This will stay for the rest of this year.
If I'm not lying/bluffing/trolling and you all have the courage to call me on it, all three of you will post in your signatures: "I got pwned by @GalvatronType_R; see link below (link to this thread)." This will stay for the rest of this year.
Lastly, if all three of you chicken out and do not respond or say no, I will not post pics at all and you all will wonder if I was telling the truth or if I successfully bluffed you all but you will never find out.
Again, this all can be resolved with a simple "yes" from all three of you. Come on, this is all for fun and it's just a game. Let's play.
@GalvatronType_R: I don't want to ban myself, so "no" from me. This is, like, my only distraction when I'm at work. I'd love to see pics regardless. I absolutely love the GT-R.
@bforrester420: DONE! Finally someone with intestinal fortitude, #RESPECT to @bforrester420. Be sure to see my revised terms above.
Now all I need are a few more affirmatives and we can get this game started...
2014 Mustang GT...love this car!
To anyone who owns a GT-R I'm jelly...one of my favorite cars that I'll (probably) never own. If I was single without any kids I could probably buy one but with two mortgages, kids, wife...it's just not feasible.
@GalvatronType_R shit, i'll reply "yes" just to get this thing moving the **** along. personally idk if you own a gtr or not nor do i care if i have to put "i got pwned" in a sig. so get on it.
The guy has been here since 2003, he's obviously not twelve years old. With any sort of a decent salary it's far from an unaffordable car, there's a lot less on the market that costs lots more. Granted I host car shows and am in contact with tons of people, so my circle is more car oriented than most, but I have five buddies with GT-R's. It's hardly some unattainable car, especially when you can finance one.
By the way, if you'd like to see some of my car shows, look up clean culture on YouTube or go to www.cleancultureevents.com It's become a sort of side gig of mine, it's steadily growing. Put a good couple of years of nonstop work to get it to where it is today, our last show seeing 4k attendees. We're in NY, FL and going to do one in CA next.

There's a large gap between being able to afford one and being foolhardy enough to spend that much money on a depreciating asset. I make a good living (nearly $70k per annum) and I wouldn't even consider buying a used, let alone new, GT-R unless I were earning upwards of $150k. The car payment on a GT-R, unless I were able to put nearly half down, would exceed my mortgage payment...on a 15 year mortgage. Thanks, but no thanks.
Edit: I found a new 2015 Premium for $88k. Factoring in $20k down payment, 4% interest, 7% sales tax, and 60 month terms, your monthly payment would be $1,362. Considering insurance runs between $3-4k a year on a GT-R, that would be an additional $291 per month just in insurance (assuming $3,500 a year in premiums). So, again, no, I wouldn't even consider spending nearly $1,700 a month for a toy.
Personally, if I were going to buy a car that's a joy to drive, I'd look in the direction of a WRX STi or the upcoming Ford Focus RS.
What are they new? About 100K? At 3% over 72 months it's $1500/mo with nothing down. I make well over 100k/yr but that is basically the same amount I pay for my primary residence lol...would be tough convincing the wife!
Certainly not completely unattainable though...hmmm :P
@GalvatronType_R: I don't care for your games. I don't know you, but I would lean towards you having a GT-R based on your username. No car guy would want a Prius. Either way, I am not part of the game. If you want to post your car pics, great. If not, that is fine too. I look forward to seeing other people's cars.
Okay fine. No more bets, wagers, games, etc. No one is beholden to anything.
I will post pics of the Prius or R35 tonight, it's 50/50 and could go either way.
I may or may not be nekkid in them, I make no promises.
You've been warned.
Hide the children.

@bforrester420: No need, I meant what I posted earlier. I respect you for stepping up but you are under no obligation.
It's now time for me to step up. Pics will be posted TONIGHT!!!!!1111
Okay, before we get started, I just want to let you all know what kind of trouble I went through to break into this rich guy's underground garage, steal his keys and documents, and take pics of his ride. My anus was in danger the entire time:
Manuals with keys (note the model year):

Not everyone lies on the internet...
@GalvatronType_R:
A nice car indeed. Thumbs up on the choice of Black. You should take some better pics though and post them here. Personally, If I was spending in that price range, I would have got a Corvette Z06/7. Sexier car. GT-R is a beast on the track though.
@BassMan: Thank you. The reason I chose the R35 is that I wanted a car that can be driven year round. With a good set of snow tires and AWD traction, the R35 is actually a practical car.
As great as the new Z06 is, you have to be a higher level of crazy to drive that thing in snow.

Reversed catfished wow haha.
@GalvatronType_R
Am jealous of your car, but not your car payment! Riddle me this, if you don't mind answering...what are your insurance premiums?
@bforrester420: Thank you. A few notes:
-My insurance is around $1400 a year. That's not too bad I guess. It helps that I have an extremely clean driving record (no moving violations/points since 2006, no collisions) and I drive like an old man (my irresponsible driving days are far behind me).
-I'm amazed at how much attention this car gets. I live in a major metro area with a lot of hapless Starbucks/Apple yuppies who drive nice cars but I get tons of stares and thumbs up. It's a bit disconcerting honestly, I wish I could drive around under the radar. I'm not an attention whore, I didn't get this car to get stares. IT'S JUST A NISSAN.
-I've owned this car for four days and already a guy in an SRT Challenger revved at me. Not cool; like I said, my immature days are behind me, I'm too old for that Fast and Furious crap.

That is just plain false, it is not just a Nissan.
The guy in the Challenger is foolish unless he has absolutely no clue of the GT-R's capabilities. Your car will beat just about anything, outside of a Bugatti, off the line. Hell, even if he had a Hellcat he'd have been embarrassed.

nice. congrats on the new wheels. drive safe
@bforrester420: True. But that's what the exotic car owners on forums say. "It's fast but just a Nissan."
Re: the Challenger, maybe they were just being friendly. Maybe it was a girl. Who knows, it was dark and the Challenger had tinted windows.

Those exotic car owners are jealous that their $200k + cars get spanked around the track by "just a Nissan."
@comp_atkins: Thanks comp.
No need for that signature, I was just messing with you guys. You are under no obligation to keep it.
I'm just happy to have met new people online who like cars just like I do.
I don't own a car. Motorists scare me. =P
They scare drivers too. Watched a (incredibly stupid) woman cut directly in front of another car (and lane of traffic) to make a last second turn today. I'm amazed she wasn't hit.
Oh, just got myself into a new 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage. Love the thing. Maneuverable and takes maybe $20 to fill up. Hell of a lot better than the '03 Sierra I had.
2014 Dodge Challenger RT/Classic, stick shift. My first manual and my first new car. Love it so far, even though it's useless in the winter. Don't even take it out of the garage between late December and late March. Which is for the best since it's a ticket magnet.
Swapped out the exhaust, added a sway bar, upgraded to mopar cold air intake, locking gas cap, and added some bells and whistles:
