I have a 2009 Toyota Corolla and I'm getting high 30's in town and mid to upper 40's on the highway. Foreign cars are the way to go in this country. Soon most dealerships won't even take SUVs as trade-in, because they won't be able to sell them on their lots. Get rid of your low gas milage SUV or truck now, because in about five years you won't have the opportunity.

[QUOTE="helium_flash"]So how much is that 100mpg car going to be? I have a feeling it will be at least $40k... :(nickyb628

All you have to do is get a stock Toyota Prius.

Take it to LA and have it modified.

I heard it cost less than 2000$.

But the cost for transporting it to LA and back surely makes up for that cheap price :).

I live in Oregon, so it's not that bad for me! :)

Here's your efficiency.

Those don't go very farrr.

Sure they do. They just don't go very fast. A human being on a bicycle is the most energy efficient moving object on the planet.

At this point the fuel cell car since the electric car is probably using power from a coal plant to chrage up and coal is probably the worst power source ever in terms of pollution.
