I have gotten my a$$ beaten bad the one time I got a drink at a bar.

Okay this is the story. Two of my friends and I (we were 18 at the time) decided to hit up a local bar. It was kind of a rinky dink home boy place. Almost everybody there was in there 40s. So it was pretty boring in the first place. A football game was on so we decided to stay and drink a couple of beers. (The bar served only beer and whiskey. How lame is that?) Apparently one of the adults recongnized one of my friends and told the bartender. He and the bouncer took us outside and beat us senseless. I understand why the bartender would be nervouse about serving us alcohol, since he could lose his license and potenially go to jail, but I thought he went too far.

The story is 100% true. You also have to understand where my friends and I were at. We were in rural Missouri, so things operate a lot different than they do back in the city. In St. Louis we probably would have just been kicked out.
