Dunno, they thought they would follow in London's footsteps and build a big wheel. Honestly i think it is an eye soar, a waste of money and really the money spent getting it all set up should have been used better. As i said there is the Black mountain overlooking belfast.. They could have just developed tourist centres up there.Interesting. For some reason I always though those sort of things were privately funded or bought by companies. Its almost like how they want to build a monorail here where I live which in my opinion is a HUGE was of taxpayer money and runs lots of risk also since part of it will be covered by federal funds. Oh well, guess if I were more active in my community I could do something about it rather than complain. It is owned and operated by a private company, but was in conjunction with a govt department.[QUOTE="RiseAgainst12"][QUOTE="KittenNipples"]Why on earth would they use taxpayer money for a ferris wheel?KittenNipples

[QUOTE="AtlanticRock"]Best city on the planetWell, if he was talking about Brooklyn in New York City, that's a borough. Brooklyn, along with Manhattan, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island, are boroughs of the city of New York. Just saying...:PBrooklyn.
