Minsk, Belarus. I doubt anyone knows where that is :Pthe_ChEeSe_mAn2
LOL! I know that feeling. When anyone (in America/Americans) asks me where I am from originally & whenever I answer, I always see the "Deer in the headlights" expression. Even if I give them a hint that it is in Southeast Asia, where it is located South of China, East of India, North of Malaysia & West of Thailand, I still get the blank expression. I often time get the "Oh ok!" expression as if they knew where it is or..... just to end the conversation.
Ditto. I like it here. :) Living in a major world city is cool, I'm not sure I could ever get used to life otherwise (though I'm sure it has its benefits).London, UK.

Thats because it seems the Soviet Union broke into a hundred pieces (probably more like 10-15 but still)......its difficult at times to remember the name and area of all the countries that broke away.
Hell, I could tell you where Russia and Ukraine are, thats about it. Ok, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia as well, but as good as I am at geography the map seems to always be changing, and so many countries have changed their names in the last 30 years.
