My family came from Scotland.
That doesn't really matter though. I was born and raised in Canada, and where my great-great-great-great-great-grandparents came from is of little consequence. I can't stand it when people born here call themselves japanese-canadian, or ukrainian-canadian, or whatever other variant. Pride in your ancestry is good, but this is just silly.
Sorry for the rant, it just bugs me a lot for some reason.
