As always i refused to patronize yet another commercially sanctioned holiday who's sole intent is to provide a small fiscal boost for people in certain applicable industries.
Most if not all holidays have been completely bastardized by the government and business in general. I make it a point not to celebrate any of them for this reason.
People get presents at Easter? I learn something new every day. cjeklol I didn't know either. 'Course I don't celebrate it.
Just the mineral rights to a plot of Saudi land that has about 300 million barrels of oil in it. Nothing too big...
I got candy and beef jerky, which is what I always get unless I specifically say I want some (usually a CD) for Easter and in stockings around X-mas. I wish I would have asked for a few gigs of RAM (really cheap now) because my computer got way slower over spring break.
Some money from my Mom and Step-Dad and my girlfriend's mom took me and her out for brunch this morning.
I've never gotten anything for Easter except for candy.JML897
Same. I've only ever gotten an Easter Egg or chocolate...that's the tradition at least in the UK.
My parents brought home a basket of Candy... and I was like wow!
Also.. my step dad thinks he's the Easter Bunny.
Ok good because you could have meant picture albums, thanks for specifying. Some candy and 2 music albums. :)

This. I am at my parents for the holiday and I got a chocolate bunny. I am happy with that.
You got a fifty dollar game card for Easter? What the hell? Since when did people start giving gifts for Easter (that isn't chocolate or more expensive than ten bucks)?
