Can't believe some people get presents for easter. Always thought that was odd. Anyway i just got some chocolate. That's common in England, but its rare to get gifts at easter over here.
Wasn't really a present as much as my mom buying tickets for me and some friends to go see the Bulls in the playoffs. I've been tutoring my brother for a couple months and that was a thank you I guess.
As always i refused to patronize yet another commercially sanctioned holiday who's sole intent is to provide a small fiscal boost for people in certain applicable industries.
Most if not all holidays have been completely bastardized by the government and business in general. I make it a point not to celebrate any of them for this reason.
I got candy and beef jerky, which is what I always get unless I specifically say I want some (usually a CD) for Easter and in stockings around X-mas. I wish I would have asked for a few gigs of RAM (really cheap now) because my computer got way slower over spring break.
You got a fifty dollar game card for Easter? What the hell? Since when did people start giving gifts for Easter (that isn't chocolate or more expensive than ten bucks)?
