My dad's birthday was last week so I surprised him by going home unexpectantly. It's a 230 mile drive and I'm a broke college student so I'm not able to go home regularly. I got him some baseball caps.
I washed him clean in the bath again this morning,put a clean nappy on him , dressed him an watched tv with him an made him a nice roast beef sunday dinner, I will put him to bed later to go through it all again tomorrow ....just went into the front room to see him before an he didnt know who I am ,his only son....
Well, I just ran down to the corner to the Mr.Sub near my uncle's house and got my dad a nice larger and delicious chicken souvlaki sub... My uncle supplied him with wine, so the alcohol was taken care of.:)
I got him a card (I didn't know what he wanted, I asked him about 20 times and he never answered). He told me I put myself in front of everything and that I'm a selfish *****.
i was on the baracuta website looking at jackets, they had a half price sale for fathers day - a £180 jacket down to £90! as much as i love him i only stretched to a box of wine gums this year!
