I'm insane

I don't talk smack in real life, at all.
I'm the guy who sits back and observes as all the idiots argue with eachother over little things. But if someone blatantly and purposfully insults me, there are no words, it's a fight.
[QUOTE="RazerBlade13"][QUOTE="ayanami_rei"]I never followed the crowd and I let myself be me, even if I was called names, such as ugly, *****, weird, goth, emo, freak, etc. I just remained as who I was. I'm not going to change for others. I'm different in my own way and I embrace that and I embrace who I am as a person. No need to change for others to like me.ayanami_rei
Weird. I'm the same way. Sometimes it really sucks, but it's worth it in the end, right? I want to be me, whether or not people accept it.
It may suck, but being happy with who you are as a person and not changing for someone just to have the person like you is a greater feeling. Besides, changing just to have people like you seems silly.Amen to that!

People keep on telling me to stop playing video games and go get a life, but I don't give a crap about them. I like gaming and a bunch of wannabes aren't going to change that.
I'm not trying to be unique, thus being unique. Honestly like 50% of the kids at my school try to label themselves as 'indie', 'emo', 'gothic', 'skater' etc.
Don't even get me started on the groups like the young neo-hippies chilling out in their broken down VW or the philisophical elitists putting down every individual one step at a time while attempting to raise revelancy to their discussions.
I wear jeans, graphic tees from old 80's cartoons, and a beaner, listen to indie/alternative music, and eat sushi and pizza. Not sure if this makes me unique or not, I don't care.
I don't want to be the guy who tries too hard to be unique and be such a badass rebel ("Down with the system") the same as I don't want to be just another douchebag wearing Abercrombie and listening to watered down rap music.
I personallly feel that having one unique dimension to your charecter is immensely benitiftial to oneself. I hate people who follow the crowd too an extent where lining them up next too each other creates a little clone army. So what do you do too stick out from the crowd? Or do you even attempt to be different? This is meant to be a mirror thread to the High School Popularity thread :)ace-of-spades93
If you have to alter your own personality based on what other people tell you, than you aren't being unique. You are just being another one of the billions of posers in this world who try to act differently. Being yourself is the best way to be unique.
Ha! no. Just do whatever you want to do and if your happy doing it, do it. If you follow the crowd like a sheep and you are happy as ever go ahead and do it, if you like dying your hair purple and green and wearing black pants with way too many zippers and your happy doing it, keep on doing it.
What I find stupid are people who hate doing things but do it for the sake of fitting in or being different, if you hate baggy jeans and fitted hats but you wear them to fit in your a fool, if you hate looking like a circus clown but you do it to be unique your a fool.
Do what makes you happy, and that's it.
