What do the rest of the world think of: America

The Roman Empire may have collapsed but doesn't mean that the Romans themselves died out. They're still alive and living comfortably in modern day Italy. Everyone for some reason thinks that if they US were to suddenly collapse that it would mean the death of this entire country, I seriously doubt that would happen. We're a pretty advanced country so even if we lost our power we would find a way to survive. It's not like we would turn into Africa over night.

Nothing against America or it's people. However a lot of Americans do seem ignorant of the happenings of their own Country and other Countries, as someone earlier has already mentioned.

Being an American myself, I'm not sure if my opinion matter, but I'll give it anyway, just like a true American. #1 We're too concerned about ourselves and trivial things like Snooki to realize there's actually important stuff going on outside of orange babies. #2 We are kind of lazy, but that kinda comes with the territory of being awesome. #3 Our entertainment is arguably the best in the world.

- Country is too politically divided
- The government blows way to much money

- The military spending is insane
- trying to police the world

- tries to dictate what other countries can and cannot do within their own borders
- Fcuses too much on improving other countries when they should be focusing as many resources as they can at home

- Lags behind on the social issues
- Education system is terrible

- High obesity rate with terrible health-care system
- Constitution has become a joke

- Freedom of speach contiously under attack
- Legal system is terrible

I could go on.
