I believe we will come face to face with God.

Oh I don't know for sure, but I'd like to think that we just die and that's it. We just fade into nothingness and cease to exist. That's comforting to me. I don't like the idea of an afterlife. It terrifies me, actually.t3hrubikscubeI semi-agree. I wouldn't say terrify as much as I would dread it. I could not imagine being around for eternity, it's unfathomable.
After death, our bodies are taken to the morgue where they are embalmed, and depending on the situation, an autopsy may be performed on the body.
After tha, there is a funeral, after which we are either buried, donated to scientific study, or cremated (in most situations.)
Nope, you just die. Decompose in the ground and on Judgement Day then we will all face the Lord and will be asked if we were good people, if we did good in our lifetime.
Define life. Other people's lives[QUOTE="XD4NTESINF3RNOX"]Nothing happens we decompose into the ground and life goes on warownslife

Ponders away* Thoughts like these plague me all day. Along with "When exactly did time start?" because there has to be a beginning and an end to something, but time is weird, because no matter how far back you go, you could probably always got back further. And how big is space/the universe...It has to end, but that means it's contained in something and there is infinite space, but infinity is supposed to be impossible...[QUOTE="t3hrubikscube"]Oh I don't know for sure, but I'd like to think that we just die and that's it. Ugh..,my brain hurts. :(
I welcome non-existant. Yes I want to live life, but when it's over, no more worries, no more bills, no more anything. I'll be just...gone.Quick question: How many of you fear your beliefs?

[QUOTE="Elian2530"][QUOTE="Ace6301"]Reincarnation makes the most sense to me since I do believe in the existence of a soul. Soul's aren't renewable resources man. Going purely on cold hard facts and what we can take away from them: Your brain is what you are, when you die it rots away into nothingness and your personality and memories go along with it. I really hope that's wrong though.XD4NTESINF3RNOXI think so too. I find it hard to believe that after we die, we just slip away into "nothing-ness." There has to be more than that. Or else, Heaven will be awfully crowded. And we all know Hell is overflowing. Why does there have too be more than that? Also why would you want to live two lifetimes? Isn't one just enough? The rule of energy says that it never can be destroyed. If you have energy something must happen to it.

Oh, and another thing - the 'rule of energy'? Really? If you're going to trample all over centuries of scientific progress, you could at least look up the terminology for what you're talking about so you don't look a COMPLETE idiot.[QUOTE="XD4NTESINF3RNOX"][QUOTE="Elian2530"] I think so too. It is broken down by decomposers and then fertilized into the earth. That is a type of reincarnation. Not the one i believe but still at least its something. What the **** are you on about? In what sense is the chemical energy contained in a corpse being used to power microorganisms a form of reincarnation? Good grief.[QUOTE="Bluestorm-Kalas"]
