What Do YOU Consider a 'Veteran' on GameSpot?

I'm really curious what everyone here's standards are.

A combination of all three....none of them alone.

Vets are determined not by those things, although all three come into it. They need to be around for a longish period of time and post things of note. There are people with huge post counts who have been here for years and have a high level that I wouldn't consider a vet because what they post is crap.In order to be recognised long enough to earn vet status the things you post have to be of some substance.

Mainly posts. Levels are pretty pointless as you can just be permanently logged on and your level will go up even when your not actually on gamespot and join date is also a inaccurate way of telling whether someone uses gamespot frequently

That claim would be an easy way out for you in criticism................ ................ .................(elipsis)

I consider a veteran with a high level. It takes a lot of time get a high level on these boards. Someone with a high level is above level 40.

I don't consider anyone to be a veteran, really - it's a silly term. All sorts of people make interesting posts, and I find that far more compelling than how many posts they've made or what level they are. Levels truly are useless.DJ_Lae
