What do you do after a breakup?

Yeap. For those are you that have never been through a breakup just use your imagination.

Ever broken up with a very good friend? I don't mean breakup but suddenly you couldn't be friends.

In either situation how did you feel and what did you do? Did you come post on OT?

As for me. NEver been in a breakup that wasn't mutual so I was glad to get out. Felt free in a way, I missed them, but whatever. I can still hang out with them as friends.

I've actually started dating someone new within a week of every breakup I've ever had. Which is rather cold I suppose, but break ups happen due to some form of inadequacy within the relationship, nothing to cry or be sad about.

As per friends, well I lost a few to death, those I mourned.

I lost a few to growing up and not having the same interests, those I didn't care about losing.

After my last break up, I sulked and locked myself away for about a week.

It sucks if you get broken up with and you obviously still like the girl, but I guess it's not that bad when you start losing feeling for each other and that's the reason why you break up.

Haha I remember my first girlfriend, We both wanted to break up because we just weren't clicking anymore and things kind of got awkward and we didn't really talk and feel the same way anymore. So we broke up and she started crying and asked why I wasn't crying. But, to me it's not like I'm not going to see them anymore, it's not like they're gone forever. I don't know.

A healthy daily intake of various drugs and alcohol, 2 months of wobbles fluctuating between 'I'll never love again' and falling ridiculously in love with some completely weird and unsuitable female because 'they were nice', then back to dull reality.

Depends. If I want out, then I'm usually happy. If I really liked the girl and she broke it off, then I feel down in the dumps for a while.

If you mean gf then I simply do nothing. A broken heart unfortunately takes the joy of everything for me. When my ex called it off I simply couldnt enjoy movies, games, books, some happy music. I guess only some sad music about broken hearts made me feel better... I'm a pvssy, I know

Thank God that was a year ago. I wouldnt want to feel like that again but unfortunately its inevitable. I guess we just learn with the exp and move on until you start to get used to it

Cry a lot, just let it all out. Then talk to someone or write in a journal about how you're feeling, that way you visually see you're getting better each day.

Depends, I really liked a girl and she broke it off because she was still stuck on her ex boyfriend, i guess she started talking to him again. I was down in the dumps for a while, i still think about her every now and then. You just have to try and move on.

On topic though, when my ex dumped me it was like WOW. It felt like someone turned the lights off in my world. So much comes up : Humiliation, Sadness, Depression , Anger, Denial, Distancing yourself from the world.

After a while though you see your ex and you kinda feel relieved that she broke it off. At times like this you always need your real brothers (close friends) to brighten your days.
