What do you do during a haircut?

I've always closed my eyes and stayed silent the whole time, but for the past few times I've wondered what other people do.

Do you keep your eyes open?

Do you try to spark a conversation with whoever is cutting your hair?

Eyes open. Whoever cuts my hair usually chats with me. I couldn't imagine keeping my eyes closed!

I sit there and stare at random parts of the room till it's over.

I usually just make small talk with the hairdresser

I cut my hair during a haircut.

I dont close my eyes.

I just try to remain calm because sometimes awkwardness makes me laugh.

I used to do that a lot with my eyes closed because I was afraid of hair going into my eyes, then one day a lady asked me if I was tired.... embarrassing. She thought I had fallen asleep. ugh.

Now I usually just chat if they are open for any discussions. I once had a really young, hot girl do my hair. I think she tried flirting with me... awkward...

I awkwardly put up with the hairdresser's smalltalk while watching my hair being cut off in the mirror. Everytime I get my hair cut, I hate it, but I always leave with a positive attitude as if I really enjoy the haircuts I get.mike_me

There is a mirror in front of me during haircut, so I just stare at myself most of the time.

I have to take my glasses off for haircut and it's annoying to have my eyes open as my eyesight is so blurred. So really I'd like to have my eyes closed but I can't because I think the hairdresser will think I'm strange.

Gah, I know. Happens every time. I like to have my hair long, and it seems that it's impossible for me to have a decent looking long style. I've never enjoyed my long hair. I've been wanting a change for a while, so today I got it cut it short, and now I want it long again... She ruined it. It was nothing like the picture. So I cut alot of it myself when I got home... Now it's just garbage.

I wants longer hair now, but not as long as before lol. I just wish it was like 4 or 5 months longer. But by then, I'll need to get it cut / texturized / layered... so.... actually this is going to take a long time. Now I know why most guys just cut their hair short.

If I'm not chatting with the person cutting my hair (usually some Korean chick), I normally stare straight ahead into space. It's not hard to do after spending years standing in formation.

Small talk with the hairdresser, while looking at what they're doing in the mirror.

Eyes closed relaxed, or browsing on my BB..Especially while sitting under the dryer..

I showed her this picture: AS SHE WAS CUTTING IT, she told me that my hair would look absolutely NOTHING like the picture I was showing her. Yeah. Actually, she told me that "He probably just wakes up in the morning looking like that, his hair probably looks different everyday." Like... thanks, lady. Anyways now it's all screwed up cause I slashed it hardcore trying to fix it, but I kinda wish I just left it alone. Sorry, I'm kind of ranting, I mean hair grows back but it's really frustrating when you can never get ONE good haircut.

I don't mind it most of the time since my hair grows like 2 inches a month.

I close my eyes the whole time then go home and take a shower because I hate all those stray hairs, they make me so itchy.

I just relax and sometimes close my eyes, but usually my eyes are open and I just do whatever the person who is cutting my hair needs me to do.
