Small or big, I'm killing it with extreme prejudice, even despite them otherwise being pacifists towards me. Lying on my bed one time and I feel something crawling up my bare leg, and it turns out to be a rather large black widow. Needless to say, I flipped right the **** out. Quickly started flailing, jumped off the bed, and vigorously patted myself down just in case. Then I immediately got a bat and started beating my bed mercilessly. The thing is, I couldn't find it again after that. No body, no leg, nothing. I still fear it or its children are around me at night. ;_;

leave the room, turn out all the lights, pack a bag and book a hotel for the night. you win this round spiders! :P seriosuly im in ireland where the worst we have (outside of a zoo) is house spiders. there harmless and in the grand scheme of spiders not very big. i usually catch them in a glass and have a look (im pretty scared of spiders but there also very interesting to look at.....behind a glass :P) then plonk em outside. though if it was a properly big or dangerous spider like a tarantula (which i know are quite passive.....but still :S) o a black widow then i probably would book a hotel and concede victory to it. thankfully we dont have those in the wild here *whew*. spiders are scary and awesome....what is it with the scary? :S

I'm always getting this feeling of something crawling up my neck and into my hair. Literally feeling every one of those eight legs move one by one slowly towards my head. Right next to my ears too, something they could easily crawl right into and make a nice cozy home. And the worst part is that this is just as I'm awake, they have free reign while I'm asleep.

Ha, kinda got the inb4 on that. But yeah, I know. I even heard this story about a woman who left her can of soda unintended to for a while, and when she later went to take a drink out of it, she got a mouthful of a giant wolf spider that was sitting right there on the rim. You can't even have a drink safely.

If it's a spider like a funnel web then I'll calmly walk into the kitchen to retrieve the bug spray and paint it white.

Or, if it's a spider like a huntsman then I'll freeze with terror and reach for the nearest blunt object without looking away, then proceed to bludgeon it to death.

It's not an "afterlife" it's the childs spirit stuck on earth. Everything on the planet has a spirit, even grass... trees.... rocks.... you name it, there's a spirit.
normally id release a bug outside (well ok atleast daddy long legs, butterflies etc that comes in the summer) but not a spider i kill them or if its too far away id let it be for the time being most fun part though is to call for my bf to make him scream:D
Most bugs I typically just corral in some way and then throw them outside. But for spiders and roaches I typically kill them unless they're jumping spiders in which case I just shoo them out of the way and leave them alone.
