Emotional outpouring - it's okay to confide in people on the internet if you're prepared for a few undesirable responses, but too much is too much and it becomes unreasonable, almost assholish to force people to read about your problems. Yeah, there are some exceptions, but still.
Self-diagnosis - you don't have ass burgers, stop bringing down people who actually have asperger's, it doesn't validate acting like a f***tard. The same applies with ADHD, OCD etc.
Pointless or done-to-death topics - with a bit of constructive criticism, we can let a done-to-death topic slide for those new to posting on internet forums. Other than that, we don't want to see another "xBox vs PlayStation" thread. Since I tend to skip topics like this, I don't really need to mention this, but there is NEVER a valid excuse for posting a pointless thread.
Trolling can be ignored. Do they really think goatse tubgirl or harlequin babies are shocking to anyone who has seen a real life flesh wound, or for that matter, had any kind if life experience? That is why people like that can be ignored, they're a six year old mindlessly shouting "c***" or telling dead baby jokes.
It IS okay for a bit immaturity since most of the gaming demographic will be irritating teenagers, providing they are called out for it. Places like that would be a good place for kids to grow up if only the moderating rules weren't so strict. Even a lot of nasties that tell teenagers to commit suicide still explain where they are f***ing up.
