what do you people know about baldness?

i wanna know if im eventually gonna go bald

i have the thickest dark brown hair you could possibly have with absolutely no signs of anything to do with baldness, and my dad is the same, and my mom.

both their dads however are kind of bald

both their moms arent bald at all

my moms dad has hair technically, its just very very thin and somewhat bald on the top

my dads dad is kind of the same i guess

what is the rule for baldness? something about skipping a generation?

anyone know anything?

Find out when your grandfather started going bald. Your grandfather may be balding while your father isn't, but your father is (presumably) younger than your grandfather, and age is often a significant factor - it's a natural part of aging for many people.

Read up on baldness at Wikipedia and look on the bright side, there's always a chance that you'll die an untimely death many decades before any kind of baldness sets in. Here's hoping!

chances is are you will go bald, it is just a matter of when.

they say baldness is x-linked recessive so it comes from your mothers side, but in reality i think it might come from both.

also environmental factors come into play as well.

diet, lifestyle and drug use will play a big part.

i started thining at 17 and at 18 started shaving my head bald. i am now 25 and have never grown my hair out since i started shaving it so i dont really know what my hair would be like now. most people think i look better bald than i did when i had longer hair.

my advice is to just shave your head bald or at least very short at the first sign of thining/receding instead of trying to hold on to what is left with foolish results.

You sound like a dreamboat. Do you often brush your hair back in a nonchelant manner while riding a motorbike?

I shaved all my hair off head and i haven't had any complaints at all. the ladies luv it, they say i look sexier bald. I actually get more play being bald then when i keep hair on my head. meh, i guess it depends on the individual thou, its not as serious as some shallow ppl might think.
