Do you ever use it? Have you got any funny stories/horror stories? I got my room off craigslist and it was an absolute unbelievable steal, I'm really fond of the website but naturally the whole personals section is a bit creepy, do you think anyone even regulates that? Do the police conduct stings on prostitutes through it? So what are your experiences with classified ad websites like Craigslist?
I love it~ I have sold a boat load of stuff on there.
Plus all the free stuff and uber cheap stuff. I just built about a 900 dollar chicken coop for 150 bucks because i bought everything on craigslist or just got it free off of craigslist~
I live in a small-town rural community and found many of those sort of pages rather inactive for my area. However things are picking up now most people are online. Freecycle is really good in my area now. Might go try Craigslist a go.
I mostly just go to the rants and raves section in my state. Some people end up as sick creeps and a-holes in the rants and raves section at craigslist
I'll look up who is having yard sales that weekend, or look at the gaming section and see if there is anything worth buying, but I stay away from every other aspect of Craigslist.

Only time Ive been aware of it is when someone is being pranked by having their phone number on it saying that they are selling Justin Bieber or Glee tickets
I'm in Canada, so it could be different, but I think it's ****. The layout is TERRIBLE, everything is a mess... We have much better offering here, first one on my mind is kijiji. Also, to trade video games I'd rather use Amazon's Marketplace...
I love craigslist I've gotten a lot of good deals on a lot of things (Especially cars when I was younger) the only thing that sucks is that its really hit or miss, alot of the times you can end up just waiting your time driving out to check something out
Craigslist has worked good for what I've done with it.  Sold a couple items and bought some others for some great prices.  Got all of my guitars on craigslist.
Just have to be careful, lots of creeps out there. (never meet in private, don't take anything but cash, ect.)
The only annoying thing is the spammers you get when listing something for sale.  But they are easy to spot (since they never want to pay with cash in person) so it's not too bad.
It's great, I found an apartment to rent and have bought other items off there. Lots of scams though so you need to be careful although they are pretty obvious.
Never bothered with it...some people I know had some luck selling or looking for tenants, one had horror stories on finding a roommate there. Another found his lover looking for sex. I'll pass.
