[QUOTE="thebest31406"][QUOTE="Laihendi"] Again, you are completely missing my point. It doesn't matter which other groups have this same privilege as the gays - they all infringe upon the businessman's right to choose who he does business with. He is being forced to provide his goods/services to someone he does not want to provide them to. Nobody has a right to another man's business. Nobody has a right to another man's property. Nobody has a right to another man's labour.LaihendiNo one was robbing him of his business, property or labour. The bakery is part of an institution that provides goods and services to the general public. If he doesn't want to be bothered with gays then don't provide goods and services. PS: are you even American? Why do you spell labour with a u? You still have no idea what I'm saying. I'm not saying the businessman was robbed of business, I'm saying he was forced into doing business with someone he didn't want to do business with. And clearly that bakery was not intended to provide his services to anyone for any occasion because the guy explicitly stated that he was against making wedding cakes for gays. Are you American? You sound like a socialist. Correction; He wasn't denying service to someone, he was denying service to a gay person because he was gay which says that he'd deny service to all gays if he could. If he was denying services to the individual because of something unique to the individual, that would be another story. As a business who serves the general public, he doesn't have the luxury or the right to serve everyone except gays or blacks or jews etc.
I see you didn't answer my question.
