What do you think happens after death? I think we hang around earth right after we die and we expect god to show up but he doesnt. Then you ask other spirits if they seen god and they say theres no evidence of his existence as far as they know. then im like I guess its alright to be a atheist.

There's a huge party in the after-life club and we all get drunk while having a good time.

I think we slowly decompose into the ground and upon the death of our brain the energy that was within it (the soul if you will) disperses into the ground just like any other energy and we are one with Earth.

Nothing happens. We die, lose conscienceness, rot, then life goes on for the other people who didn't die yet.

your body starts to decompose as bacteria in your body begins to eat away at your.....:P if u mean in a spiritual sense then i don't believe anything happens, as im not religious at all this gives me a reason not to, imo the only reason people believe in a god is because they are afraid of whats going to happen after they die, if they can live foreve they will do whatever it takes

Actually, if I had a thought about what happens after death, I'd think this would be a answer I'd give...

Everything and nothing. Your actions in life had an irreversible effect on the universe (whether negative or positive), but your "self" died with your body.

We get suspended in tanks and fed through tubes, while having a representation of tranquility played into our subconscious, of course.

I think when we're dead, we're dead. Nothing happens. For billions of years we didn't exist, then we briefly existed, then we're dead and dont exist any more. The universe will continue on just fine without us.

The question is basically a religious question. You either believe you go to heaven or you believe that you disolve into the ground.

It definitely isn't as simple as those two options... I would specifically call this a spiritual question and hardly a crutch.

I think it has everythign to do with spirituality. The question of 'where do you think happens after we die" asks many questions. "Do we have a soul?" "Where does that soul go?" etc...

Why would you discount any ideas that predict what happens after we die? There is absolutely NO way to know...

You only did that because your brain was functioning. I have had tons of out-of-body experiences, but I never thought of them as confirming an afterlife.

Out of body experience does not indicate afterlife, however there is a way to confirm afterlife through meditation, you can tell it's real.
