If not for Durant and the Thunder, I would say absolutely nothing. I hope I never have to visit or stay in the state of oklahoma for a period of time. Oh and of course it's my obligation as a Longhorn to say "OU Sucks".

This is exactly why Oklahoma doesn't want to sell you its water, which Texas is demanding in Federal Court. What makes Texans think they have a right to treat Oklahoma like a colony and plunder the state of its resources? What makes it's lawyers so brash as to believe that they can use the Federal judiciary as hammer with which to bludgeon it's neighbors into submition.
If 5 million Dallas residents need water for their golf courses, then they should move to where there is water. Oklahoma is in the middle of one of its worst droughts in its history and yet Texas continues to press in court its demands that Oklahoma surrender its water rights to the Dallas-Ft Worth Metro area, which the Spanish explorer Coronado once described as a great grass desert during the XVI century.
North Texas has stripped it's environment of its capacity to support its population and now Texas looks to plunder Oklahoma in order to keep the party going in Dallas.
Big states cannot be allowed to colonize small states. It's unthinkable.
I couldn't care less. I live in Austin and don't like Dallas. My disdain for the state of Oklahoma is based on the rivalry I mentioned and the fans of that university...not political/government issues between the two states.
Outside of the thunder and college sports.....absolutely nothing. 19 long years of living here, hopefully I can leave this state in 5 years.
