Not a fan of tattoos in general. They make you look dirty, as in unclean.

I'm not a fan of them. But I don't mind them if they're small and unobtrusive. Same goes for jewelry. People who go to great lengths to 'look unique' don't usually end up looking very attractive to my eyes.

If a girl needs a tattoo to justify their own existence, that is pretty pathetic.

For me, it really depends on the girl and the tattoo in question!

I don't need them, for me they are a part of who I am for example one of them is my sons footprints from the day he was born. If you get a tramp stamp or a tribal I do agree it makes no sense but some are very important and mine are a reflection of who I am.

Yeah, i agree. As i said before, dont go and get a tattoo just for the action of getting a tattoo...it has to have a meaning deeper than..."I wanna fit in"

The different race thing got me thinking. I recently returned to Canada after living in various countries in Asia for 12 years. One of the things I can't stand about women here is the ink they're sporting. I think it makes them look like inbred trailer trash or crack whores. I also think the mindset behind it is pathetic. "I'm going to go get a tattoo to totally express my individuality, just like everyone else!!" It ain't called a tramp stamp for nothing.

bogaty

Yeah. They can look okay on the right girl...but a girl's body, mind and personality are what makes her attractive. Not her tattoo(s). And...tramp stamps are WAAAAAAAY overdone. Nothing cool, expressive or unique about them.

Did you need a stamp on your body to prove your love? It seems kind of juvenile.

Like what I said in my above post: That tattoo is not what makes her attractive. She just is attractive...and the tattoo works because she's physically beautiful in the first place. That tattoo wouldn't be the same on Rosy O'Donnell.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of tattoos, nor do I think I'd look cool with one. I Googled Megan Fox's tattoos...and they seem a little distracting.

Beautiful tattoos are beautiful on anyone. I find women with well-done tattoos very attractive. Not more attractive than women without, but not any less. Wearing art is a beautiful thing.

I only like them if they are in a specific place. I find tattoos on the arms to be pretty hot actually. Carah Faye, the former lead singer of Shiny Toy Guns, has arm tats and I think she's gorgeous. Anywhere else though is mehhhhh.

I have a "tramp stamp" (working on getting it re-inked and adding to it - my own design then and now of course) and I graduated with honors with a business degree and work in a corporate setting along with other co-workers who themselves have tattoos. As Rika said, don't judge a woman by her body art and you may have your opinion on it (with dated perception or perhaps its location) but doesn't make it so.

Tattoos on a woman, whether something small and hidden or many and quite visible I always see as a nice way to break the ice when meeting them for the first time. I always end up what the tattoos mean and why she got them. Why look at tattoos on women as a negative. Just turn it into a positive.

No, I don't care for tattoos on women at all, they're just naturally beautiful they way they are and tats interupt the flow of her skin. Very well done, poorly done, doesn't matter to me.

Tattoos are art. What is appealing art to one person, is a ramble of crap to someone else. I would judge every case individually, some tattoos on some girls are nice, some tattoos on other girls are quite meh.

I just love tatoos, period. Ironic, considering I dont have one and will likely never get one, but I just think theyre beautiful. This is especially true on women.

While I agree the trendy tramp stamps and the barbed wire aroudn the bicep are lame, most tatoos are really creative, beautiful, and express quite a bit. I dont care if its a little word written in a foreign language, or a whole sleeve tatoo going from a wrist to shoulder....if I see a woman with a tatoo she just went up a few points in my books.

In short, tatoos are hot!

I agree. Its not so much the placement so much as the tatoo itself. I mean...hy? Why did you get it? Does it mean soemthing? Or did you just get drunk and be like "this is purdy *giggle*" and get the ttoo?

I really like tatoos on a woman's back, tho.

It depends on the tatoo personally and if its a big one or a small one. If its just a small one on the ankle or on the hip or something then i think it'd be nice but if it was a huge one on the back or near any of there private parts then i'd find it somewhat unattractive.

i hate girls with tattoos, they always have the same crap in the same places, flowers/unicorns/stars/butterflys/etc and there always on the small of the back/foot/chest/ bellybotton/wrist/etc, if its original i have no problem with a chick with a tat but ive seen maybe one in a mil with somethin that was actually different, same with guys, its always a tribal/barbwire/flames/spiderwe, and always done the same ways, its just blah and laughable

Not particularly my thing, but I'm really a big fan of women in general, so I can overlook a great many things. I'll take soft, healthy skin over a tattoo any day, though.

Well, obviously it's their business why and whether or not they get a tattoo. But if you mean in terms of whether the guys find it appealing on a girl (remember, there's girls on this site as well) then I don't know what I think of it, really, and I suppose it depends on the kind of tattoo, but I don't think it would be particularily appealing, except once in a while. (ie. temporary tattoos)
