What do you think of the banner I made?

I made this banner for my clans website which is still under construction. Anyhow what do you think of it? Should I add something? Get rid of something? Let me know thanks :)

P.S. On the site the image will be smaller in pixel size so it will have a better sharpness and resolution.

EDIT: The bottom logo as well as the text at the top, that is.

My only gripe is the font, it doesn't really fit, the top font/style is ok but the red is kind of random. I don't know just my 2 cents.halo3-player

As for the text at the top, I say redo it or take it out completely completely.
Keep in mind you are placing dark text over a dark graphic. As a result the text doesn't stand out when it should. I would recommend taking out the gradation in the text and remove that awkward shadow that is at the bottom of the text. Try something lighter in color for the text, but not something so bright. For example, the red text below it is just so bright that it bleeds out of the overall composition.

The font choice is iffy. The first line at the top doesn't read that well. It needs more contrast with the background. The image a whole doesn't really have much of a focal point either so there isn't really a place to for your eyes to rest so it feels sort of uncomfortable. Also, if that is the logo in the bottom left, it has very low importance in the image because of size, color, and position if it. If you want to call more attention to it, it should have more prominence in the picture. Right now it looks like an afterthought.

I personally love the overall layout and clarity of the design. The only recommendation I have is that you change the font for the text in the image. It's too rough.

You should take the font in this one and place it in the other one. The image in the other one was better IMO.

It looks good.:) The only thing you should do is move the text a bit to the left. It's too close to the character.
