What do you think of the Saw series?

I watched Saw 3D recently and it was awful. The original was actually a good film, but the sequels are terrible. I guess Saw 2 was tolerable, but now the series is a parody of itself. I really hope Saw 3D is the last.

i don't mind it, but i don't go out of my way to watch them

I have only seen the first two which I thought were decent films, I watched about 20 minutes of number 3 and I haven't watched any other ones since :P

Good series of movies that needs to end before it tarnishes its name even more.

Went downhill further after the 3rd one, enjoyed the 1st the most though.

My friends and I went through the whole series the night before Halloween. I liked the first one, the rest kinda felt the same, in a boring way. I'm technically supposed to be at the theater with friends watching the most recent one, but decided to pass.

It looks like the producers of the Saw films have a new franchise to bleed for all its worth--so to speak.

i liked one but lost interest after five. i think they got progressively more gore and less plot.

I loved the first. The second was pretty good. everything else sucks, though I do kind of like the 6th film just becuase I was impressed that a saw film had political commentary.

The first one is brilliant.

The rest are terrible. REALLY bad.

You know you're milking a series when you continue to make more follow ups after the main character is dead..

I saw the first one and didn't think it was that great. I don't see what the hype is about, I thought it was gonna be really gory or something.

I think the idea is clever. In other horror movies, you're yelling at the tv telling the characters not to be so ******* stupid, but in the end dead. In Saw, some of the traps are well designed and it really doesn't matter how intelligent you are.

But it was good for the first 3 max, and that's pushing it a little. I think it's been going on WAY too long and that it went from good to incredibly stupid.

I've only seen the first three in the series. The first movie was great. Original and something different. The rest have just spiraled out of control and I have no desire to watch them.

The first one was great. However, I lost interest in the series shortly after when it tried to be too much like Final Fantasy.

I think they're pretty funny.
