i used to have a huge children's bible (purdy pictures) that i used to prop up a small tv. actually...checking right now its behind my new tv under a huge SAT guide. i used to have a real bible but i gave it away to a roommate so he wouldnt have to buy it just for class.

By "atheist," I mean "intolerant troll who would rather insult religous folks than hold a reasonable discussion."

What is this?

Athiests CANNOT have a reasonable discussion with Theists when it comes to God.
An Athiest will cite reason, and how there is no reason or logic in claiming something exists when there's no evidence for that being's existance.

A thiest will claim that random things (the world, the sky, people, the universe) are evidence that "God did it", however there's nothing to prove that either.

How does not believing in something when there's no reason to believe in it, mean someone is "ignorant" as you claim?

I own one 'cause I went to a christian school. I haven't seen it in years, though.

When my grandparents gave it to me they emphatically told me "to be used," so I obviously can't let it just sit on a shelf. I use it for rolling papers, waste not want not.

I've got two Bibles. I have no idea where they are, probably in a box out in the garage.

Don't own one. When I did I would read it from time to time. I liked the parables and whatnot. Then I started reading the parts of the bible that never really get talked about in church today... and then I became agnostic.

Applying logic to religious discussion is like applying apple pie to a car battery. It doesn't fit, doesn't make sense, is out of context, and shouldn't be done... but atheists pretend that somehow, if they throw enough of it at religion, someone will give a f***. That shows a basic ignorance of people's feelings, and the proper way to argue/debate/whatever you want to call it without stomping on them like a drunken elephant.

i got a massive bible collection,whenever i see one i just gotta steal it.....never read anyone of them though and yes i know i need help.

I have a few bibles scattered around my house, mostly they just clump up my book shelves.

Repelling vampires, demons and other assorted evil entities.

Ironically, although im an atheist, I do enjoy reading the bible and other religous texts for their literary quality.
