[QUOTE="Rikardur"][QUOTE="mindstorm"]I'm a Senior Christian Studies major and will begin my work on an Masters of Divinity in August. Basically I'm going to talk about Jesus for a living.Shad0ki11
Must be boring.
To you: yes.
To him: no.
To each his own.
I like my opinion better :P
Not sure, at the moment i'm thinking civil engineer or web designer. I'm quite good at making websites, not awesome but i enjoy it and i'm ok at it. I've liked the idea of designing structures and suuch since i was a little kid and i was never into the arty architechtual stuff, i can appreciate it but anything past a sleek modern or minamilistic design then i could never design it.
I also enjoy making and fixing PCs but that dosn't make much money so i think i'ld just get a job doing that when i'm at uni or after my AS exams (have 5 this year).
I used to want to be a games programmer but i've heard from alot of people that as soon as you work for what you love yoou start to hate it, you've got to choose something you'ld love to work as, also since i started computer class i noticed that i'm a pretty terrible programmer. I've also thought about systems analyst but then i found out that it involves working with bussinesses which keep changing thier mind and it's one of the most stressful jobs there is.
.... any tips from someone that works in those fields? I know there's a few web designers round here....
Oh and while i'm here, any thoughts on what i could do for a project on one of those jobs? It has to be an essay and it should be bassed round a subject field that i want to do for a job as the whole idea of the project is to get me into the uni corse i want and job i want (it's an AS by itself).
I'm trying to go into medicine, but these days it's looking too tough. I should have switched to pre-law when I still had the chance. :xRenegade_Fury
i thought about medicine as i fuind biology really easy and i get Bs at AS whilst i'm half asleep, though the cost and length of the corse put me off and i didn't take chemistry so i can't now...

Well it's not the bio/physiology stuff that gets me (I enjoy those), it's more like the physics and chem courses that drive me nuts. I like to memorize material and then base my conclusions off of that for a given problem. In those types of classes, you need to be able to use logic on random problems like math, and that's not my forte. Also I cannot stand doing 4 hour labs throughout the week, it just drains me too much. Then there's all of that plus the insane competition ( I go to UC Berkeley), so it's basically a living hell for me.
[QUOTE="jakeboudville"]That beggar on the street...horgen123Ooh you need severak years of education for that I'm afraid :P
Not to mention the additional 2 years of training and simulation exercises.
