What does an Atheist experience before he/she dies?

Eternal life is ****. No matter how peaceful it is, it will end up being torture after the first 1000 or so years. Im surprised god dosent commit suicide.

I think that it comes down to belief. I mean if there was evidence of an afterlife, I'm sure there would be more people who would be inclined to want to go to heaven (or hell), as opposed to just having belief which is not concrete.
