[QUOTE="Democratik"] and its very possible that the education they receive would be awful. the problem with education is that our taxes arent being used for it enough. public schools all over the world are great (not implying every nation though) but ours is awful. you directly benefit from public education, regardless if you goto it. yes you are responsible for it, and you will always pay for it. when you grow up, you will understand. Public schools outside of the United States are fairly difficult, and for some reason they are applauded for that, but their students are not much more intelligent than our own. One of the problems facing Germany, is the enormous number of students who forget all that they learn. From what I've read and heard, they only retain 10% of all that they learn in school. That's not good. Furthermore, the purpose of public education is the same across the globe -- attend college, get a degree, join the workforce. Emerson spoke of this problem to the graduating class of the Divinity School at Harvard, when he said, "An education for the express purpose of attaining a job will lead to despair."
I find it funny how Beck can't even figure out what czar means in russian, if he look at the history books for about 10min he'd releaize that the term "Czar" was coined after the last Byzantine (Roman) Princess (niece of the Last Roman Emeror, sorry can't recall names right now) Marryed the Novgoradian (Russian) Heir to the throne, and Became known as Caeser like the last Roman Emperor. Caeser In russian is Czar, so technicly he's lying to you when he says Czar means king:lol:.
