[QUOTE="VisigothSaxon"][QUOTE="Darthkaiser"]Right now my only aim is to get a Chris helmsworth like physic, I'm not fat but I'm not thin either so I decided to grow more muscle mass, but first I need to lose a few pounds. My current training is like interval training, (don't know the exact word in english) I go through a circuit of excercises, finish one, do a 50 meter lap, then go to the other one and so on, takin breaks when necesary, I do the circuit 4 times and I'm done.Darthkaiser
That shouldn't be too hard. He doesn't have much muscle so most of that is diet.
You sure we're talking about the same guy?? :?I am sure, he is muscular yeah, but he isn't beefcake muscular or super bulky, he is just more ripped and defined.
Im just doing what i've been doing for the past 4 months, Eat healthly, exercise every 2 days, and twice a week do weights. its not too bad, i've lost 30 pounds (2stone 2p ) so far :D, so hopefully ill be looking better for summer XD

Cool, why only 2 days of weights tho? I would consider 5 days of weights the minimum. :P
I never understand why people try and get in shape for summer just when summer is starting. You really should be doing it in the winter. You don't get results ASAP. And really exercise is a lifestyle change. bobaban
I just made the topic a little late. : /
I changed my workout regimine into a summer one, a couple months ago.
anyone know how much weight i can lose if i go all out 3-4 months? like weight training for 1 hour, cardio 30 minutes. Bloodseeker23
If you workout 6 days a week doing a hour or so of lifting. With a good diet ya you could lose a lot of weight.
I would suggest cutting out milk, and cutting out sugar, butter, and cheese best you can. Try and eat healthy as well.
I'm majorly watching what I eat, but eating more often. Aiming for 3-4 miles on the treadmill probably 6 days out of the week. Core and strength training with my friend when I can. I have a bet going to lose a certain amount of weight by a certain time, so that's the main reason for all this. Let's just hope it works!

No problem, I enjoy helping others achieve their fitness goals. :D
It seems weird that you are suggesting to take out the 2nd best protein available (milk). Might want to rethink that, skim milk is pretty good for you.
Well here down under its winter so i dont have to worry about looking good without a shirt if i go to the beach haha,
Nah but seriously i workout all year round to stay in shape for kickboxing and just for my health and of course looks,
Atm my workout is, (I do matrix workout which keeps me ripped while putting on muscle)
Monday - Legs and Back - I do mostly Squats and dealifts with a set of hamstring curls and lunges, for back i mostly do pulldowns, rows, dumbell bench rows ect,
Tuesday - Biceps - Curls of many variations
Wednesday - Rest day
thursday - Abbs and chest- Crunch variations, bench press variations, dumbell flyes ect
Friday - Legs and back
Saturday - Shoulders and triceps - variations of presses and arnold presses, tricep pushdowns, skull crushers ect
Sunday - rest day,
Atm i do only about 15 mins of cardio every 2nd workout day as i'm an ectomorph and my kickboxing more than compensates for cardio, plsu i'm on the bulking workout atm,
Pretty much go the gym mon-fri. the works. I don't eat healthy though. I still like my sweets. Breakdancing and basketball are pretty much the reasons i do it as well as feeling good.

I don't think you can utilize milk protein, and I lost some fat cutting out milk.
Been tanning. Just went for a run; f**ing Midwest humidity sucks it. Also, over the last 10 days or so, I basically stopped drinking to improve my fitness. That's significant, for me anyway.
Palantas
I got to get a tan this summer, humidity sucks.
I'm not really interested in being in shape just because it's close to summer, but I'm (trying...) to do push-ups/sit-ups/stretches lately and plan to start swimming regularly. I imagine eventually I'll do some sort of weight lifting.
I can't really do the sit-ups or push-ups functionally yet, so I'm starting with a whole bunch of 1/2 or 3/4 push-ups and holding myself halfway sitting up in a sit-up position in intervals, in order to build up some sort of muscle to start doing them properly. It seems to be working because my muscles hurt x.x
I have barely any visible fat on my body... But I barely have any visible muscle either :P

Ah atleast you don't got much fat, well weightlifting will put on a lot more muscle than ownbody weight exercises. I am naturally skinny as well and would look like a twig if I didn't do weightlifting 6 days a week. :P
i workout all year long...a healthy lifestyle shouldnt be turned into a "summer" thing. ive worked out for years now. so to answer your post, i do the same thing as i do in the winter. i change it up about every 8 weeks. new plan and everything. pygmahia5
Now sure why everyone thinks I am saying only work out before summer. I am just saying that you can't be in the best shape 24/7 so people tend to go all out during summer and tend to trim down the bulk they got from winter, or just try and trim down in general. I never really changed my workouts up for summer until now. I think I'll get better results doing a bulk and shred up phase tho.
Curls (with 30lb weights, I'm skinny - don't judge me)
and
Push-Ups
AtlanticRock
30 pounds is respectable for a skinny dude. I was curling 30s 3 sets of 10, a few months ago, I am up to 45s now, but yeah 30s, not bad.
[QUOTE="AtlanticRock"]You should also do something with your back otherwise your going to have a hunch back to go along with your nice new biceps.Curls (with 30lb weights, I'm skinny - don't judge me)

Haha yeah he should, and working out back builds biceps faster than just building biceps alone does.
