Used to have a Japanese spitz, along with some mixed breed dogs, but they're all gone now. I'd be happy with any breed, but I must admit I find the husky and the shiba inu most appealing. I have to satisfy my love for them through Nintendogs.

My old doggie looked liked this, a giant snowball of fur:

The Shiba Inu :

So handsome.

[QUOTE="EMOEVOLUTION"]Black Lab, or a Chocolate Lab. They are the best dog anyone could ever desire.

Au contrair, a mutt that was a rottweiler, golden lab and lab retriever - that is the best dog anyone could desire. Big, loyal, dumb as hell and wants to please :3

My family already has two dogs...one of these and one of these. Wouldn't change them for the world right now. :)

I pick this. I remember when I was 5 our neighbour (an old lady) had one of those and it was my bestest friend.

Grew up with a Scottie across from me. It was an old male, and he didn't like kids much, but I got to pet him once. I was so happy when I was allowed to pet him, because he was so reserved

Some of them are like that given a certain upbringing, although it depends almost entirely on the owner. Ours is very defensive of our property but she's harmless when she knows there's no threat. :) And our westie is harmless regardless..

Well, they ARE terriers, and terriers are very defensive of their territory, so I understand his behaviour now, but as a kid I didn't. If I didn't already have a dog, I'd probably get a westie, because I think they look so cuddly. They don't require much grooming, do they? Just a cut once in a while, yes?

Yeah that's right. When I get my own place I'll probably get one too, or maybe a Sheltie. Although I don't think it's possible for me to get another one as loving and as placid as ours. :P

You can always hope. My brother acquired an amstaff, and they have recently been banned in Denmark, along with twelve other 'fight dog' breeds... The dog is still a puppy, so hopefully they will be able to make him cuddly and not bitey-chewey as the media has hyped them up to be...

There's a culture of breeding some dogs to fight in some parts of this country, I find it truly sickening. It's not just the pets that need to get put down in those sort of situations. :P As long as they're brought up right, chances are he'll be fine.
