I do Kickboxing and BJJ. Both practical, useful, ones striking the other is ground fighting. Been taking them both for a few years, love it.
You know mma is mixed martial arts right? Not like...a separate style. BUT if you are wanting to do grapples do Brazilian JiuJitsu or like Hopkido. And if you are looking for something that would actually be effective do Muay Thai.
Im getting tired of jsut lifting waiting around for football next year..ive always loved street fighting and so i wouldnt mind takin that into a gym, dojo, whatever it is(better there then in the street). but theres a lot of types of styles,..boxing..judo..jujuitsu,..martial arts..mma..karate and more im a big guy so some of the grappling types arent the best for me..(im 6'2) 218 pounds...anyone got any sugestionsxXMarineCorpsXx
I would suggest Judo for you, you could excleastthrow somebody. I'm in Boxing and it builds muscles great and its great to learn.
WEEEEOOOOO WEEEEEOOOO THIS IS THE GAMESPOT POLICE, I REPEAT, THIS IS THE GAMESPOT POLICE.
The frick's goin' on here pilgrims?
haha that was funny...well here im gonna be the matrure one and im gonna end your stupid bullsh** by sayin ok im not gonna waste your time anymore, you dont hav to be part of the discussion bye, however, 50 other people did want to be. and maturely answered without talking about sheep and for the whole wasting ptime aspect of your argument..i do care about those peoples time, its jsut yours that i dont...so if you want to try an be a big tough internet boy go ahead...but if you want to talk sh** to me do it in person, dont lay back behind ure comp like a b**** and back up your shi** or jsut grow up and stop posting your pathetic attempts at lookin cool infront of your friends on gamespot. because me or anyoen who may be reading what other people have posted in this topic.. do not want to be wasted by this stupid a** argument.xXMarineCorpsXxIt's interesting what an insecure person will say when they're wrong and caught. Suddenly, they avoid responding to the argument and start attacking the person instead, which shows that you have absolutely no confidence in what you just said.
well, from what I've seen no real Dojo needs your attitude (from your first post it's obvious you haven't the slightest clue what the Martial Arts are about. not flaming, just passing on to you what some of my instructors have passed on to me). so I'd just join a Boxing school if I were you. that aught to be the physical torment your looking for. that and the good ones obviously will have you spar at the end of a class to put what you learned for the day into use.
