What game would like to see become a movie?

After a week and a half of playing Red Dead Redemption, I'm convinced it would be an awesome movie....or even better HBO series.Travo_basic

.. It already has been a movie.. Check out the dozens of western movies out there, RDR got its inspirations and ideas from them.. To me it would be as silly as saying that Grand Theft Auto should become a movie.. Yeah because we don't have enough gangster movies.

I can name a few.. 3:10 to Yuma remake.. And Appiloosa directed by Ed Harris.. Then there is Unforgiven by the late 90s.. The only thing I yearn for is Clint Eastwood's last movie would be a western.

This would be the only game I could warrant in recent memory that would make a interesting movie.. In all honesty they could get rid of the whole plasmid idea because it will only get muddled in the movie.. But the idea of a dystopia underwater in the 1950s and 1960s of a absolute capitalist rule with no moral boundaries sounds like a extremely interesting thing to watch out.. In my mind it has alot like the calibre if done right such as 1984 or Clockwork Orange.

None that I like, because they'll do a good-job in cocking up the whole thing and making it rubbish.

Yet again how would specifically RDR make a refreshing movie? IT PRETTY MUCH copies from the great western movies in character design and story.. Gameplay aside, everything is a carbon copy of numerous western movies!.. This would be alot like claiming that GTA would make a original movie.. No it wouldn't because story wise these movies never tried to be original in story or character.. It would be more accurate of suggesting that we need a new gangster movie and RDR.. Because neither game story or character wise is hardly original of the respective genres.

I think Bioshock would be an awesome movie and Id make Grand theft auto and Red dead redemption into tv shows. I dont really care who the actors are.

I don't think that any game would fit to be a movie personally. A lot of game movies were failures. Advent Children was an example of that. I liked it but a lot of people just said it wasn't good. Personally though game movies seem too short (as in story length they just skip parts) and unrealistic. I'd prefer real actors that look at least similar to the characters unlike the mario bros movie which I thought was dumbest and probably most boring video game movie I've seen in my life.

I don't want a Halo movie, it would never live up to the hype. Splinter Cell would be pretty cool if done right. Turok might work too, if done right.
