What has happened to warped tour...

Not one good band(two used to be good band, a few ok bands, majority is bad-awful) for 2011 lineup. Not the best lineups in the past but at least there was some great bands on over the years....

Seriously has anybody here actually been ripped off and bought tickets ? AA! + AA on main stage... jokes.

Edit: I know this isn't exactly a new announcement but its just that bad.

Well...I wouldn't pay money to go.

I like Paramore...besides that...I guess Yelawolf and Vonnegutt would be okay.

Warped Tour's never been my thing though since I typically don't listen to that type of music.

i have to admit they have a lot of not known bands, but thats the thing thats good about it, being there will get you to know and like brand new bands

Oh they are known bands, the majority are just bad or worse... there are really good post hardcore/metalcore bands out there yet the ones playing here are all scene garbage. Its just a shame, when it first started warped tour was so good....

Paramore, A Day to Remember, Eyes Set to KIll, Lucero are the only good bands in my opinion.

I am going this year. My GF just got me tickets yesterday. I haven't been to Warped Tour since 2000 and 2001 I went two years in a row right after I got out of high school. I am looking forward to it even though I never hard of most of the bands. I really like less than jake.

I'm really, really surprised Paramore is on it. I would've thought they were too big for the Warped Tour now. Of the bands theres only a couple that I like and at that they're bands I wouldn't tell anyone I liked. :P

Actually looking at the list it must of been 99 and 2000. Becuase I remember Ice T being there and thinking it was kind of weird and the only year he was there was 99 I guess. And I know I saw greenday there and the only year it says they did it was 2000.

I thought the Warped Tour was supposed to be mostly punk related bands? Of the bands there, I like Less Than Jake and Sum 41, wouldn't mind seeing them.

It's nice to see Pepper on the main stage. The last I time I went to Warped Tour they were playing there for their first time on the small Volcom stage. I went to see Glassjaw and Vendetta Red and discovered them in the process. It's a good place to see bands you have never heard of. That was years ago though like 2002 or 2003.

My buddies and I have gone for the past 3 years, the first year we went for the bands, the last 2 have just been for a fun outing together i suppose. We mostly hang out, listen ot the more random bands, check out the few we want to see and get a shirt. Fun day overall, in my opinion.

We came as Romans, Eyes Set to Kill, Miss May I, Asking Alexandria, August Burns Red, BVB. I don't see the problem....
