Question, what makes Barrack Obama qualified to run for president? What kind of experience does he have? Has he done anything in the senate besides talk about change and have very good speeches?

Hilliary and McCain have much more experience. Theirs has been many other candidates in the past who had the same amount of experience Obama has had, and never made it out of round one. Obama is only here because of his skin color, and I think that's wrong.

Pulling the race card is what people do when they have no argument. This has nothing to do with Obama being black and everything to do with people liking Obama's message. What's Hillary's Message? - "Obama isn't qualified." McCain's? - "100 year war in Iraq

Obama's message - "Change" hell that sounds good to me. I'm tired of seeing politicians like McCain who are so out of touch with young people today. It's scary to think what would happen if he got elected, because he only has the best interests for old republicans.

Bringing the troops home would affect a lot of 18-24 year olds, nice try though.

So did Hitler:o

You don't talk details at rallys. Try turning on a debate or visiting his website if you want to hear about policy details. The sources are plentiful.

If you think all people are doing is hearing stump speeches and forsaking an actual policy, you're all sadly mistaken fanboys who simply want to hate on him because people like him AND his policies.

But do you. You're just regurgitating what someone else said rather than getting the real information and forming your own opinion.

Why would they do that? They'd rather listen to Rush Limbeau's talking points. Stop trying to make sense.

He tells us about how he's going to change stuff. Actually its a teleprompter telling him to tell us he's going to change things.

Oh! Oh! He runs away from the press when they begin asking him intimidating questions. Maybe instead of running, he should tear up in his right eye. I'm sure the same people that voted for Hillary because of that will move over to vote for him.

Not much, its more of an emphasis what hes going to do.

Hes gotten millions of people who never voted or cared about politics to register and get involved. Hes looked at as a man of change, a man who can restore this country back to a plus, unlike the current said President with plenty of experience, whos been sinking this country into the ground for the past seven years.

You have to be a certain age (I don't know what it is), you have to have been born in America, you have to have a history in politics, and you can only be the president twice.

I think you have to be over 35.

And yes, Obama does "qualify", but I'm pretty sure the OP wasn't being as technical as you'd hoped.

Peaple think that since he can give inspirational speeches about how he is going to bring change to the world that he should be qualified to be Predident. I agree that he is an inspirational speaker, but so is my priest at my church, but that doesn't mean he would make a good President.

I just don't understand how people can blindly follow Obama without having some serious doubts about him. Obama has been linked to Louis Farrakhan, a racist, Rezko, a slum landlord owner, and William Ayers, a terrorist. I hate to do the guilty by association talk, but rightly or wrongly, people are often judged by the company they keep. If you read into these stories it should at least send bells ringing, whistles blowing, and red flags flying.

Obama's church magazine, Trumpet Newsmagazine, awarded the Jeremiah A Wright Jr. Trumpeter Award to Louis Farrakhan. A man who they said "truly epitomized greatness". This man is a complete racist. He has stated "White people are potential humans, they haven't evolved yet." "Murder and lying comes easy for white people." And Farrakhan was obviously influenced by his mentor, Elijah Huhammad, who said blacks were "born righteous and turned to unrighteousness," while the white race was "made unrighteous by the god who made them." Obama's own minister, Jeremiah Wright, supports this man, and Obama has been going to this church for over 20 years..

Obama is also good friends with William Ayers, a former member of the Weather Underground, a group who bombed U.S. government buildings including an attack on the Pentagon. Ayers has even gone on record saying that not only does he have no regrets, but feels he didn't do enough. Both Obama and Ayers have also served together on the board of The Woods Fund, which has granted large amounts of money to groups such as the Arab American Action Network which supports open borders, granting driver's licenses to illegal aliens, and has an anti-Israel stance.

Now I'm not saying Obama had anything to do with these things, but at some point you have to step back and at least question his associations with these people. You tend to hang around people with whom you share your views and interest. Am I right? And I find it odd that he is disassociating himself from Farrakhan and his minister's views only now that he is running for President.

But the real question is why these stories aren't being brought up in the media. I mean if this was a white person who was associated with a white supremacy group, he would be crucified. Heck look what happened to Trent Lott. All he did was make a comment at Strom Thurmond's birthday party that gave the appearance that he supported racism and the media had a field day, so much so, that Lott stepped down from his position of Senate Majority Leader. It's just interesting the media ignores questionable relationships in Obama's past, as well as, his lack of experience and knowledge in foreign policies, but is quick to jump all over Trent Lott's comment, McCain's alleged relationship with Vicky Iseman, which had no proof to the story, and all of Hillary's shenanigans. I mean they put out all the negative acts of McCain and Hillary, but for some reason he always seems to come off like a God. For some strange reason, people act like he can do no wrong. For example, everytime Obama or his wife, who herself has made unpatriotic statements, says something inappropriate, the media and his followers run to his aid and say it was all taken out of context or misinterpreted.

And I'm personally glad Hillary won Texas and Ohio because she needs to stay in this election since she is the only one that will actually bring up his past relationships which should be brought up. Obviously the media won't do it, and McCain and the Republican party sure as hell won't do it because they will automatically be labeled racists. The fact that he pulls out the race card whenever he actually does get attacked makes me just dislike him even more. Is any story that is negative about Obama not allowed? Have we gone to censorship by fear of offending other races? He is a possible candidate for President, therefore, everything is up for scrutiny as it is with McCain and Hillary. Or is it? The truth of the matter is that the media really needs to get over this bias crap in favor of Obama because it is disgusting. Our last President was appointed by the courts, and our next one is being picked by the media. It needs to stop.

And the thought that people are voting for him based on his charisma and not on his political views is frightening to me. Most people voting for him don't even know his stance on anything. They just hear the words hope and change and run with it. I mean if I'm going to vote for him to be President, I want to know everything about him. That includes his religious and social background as well as his economic and international views. And IMO, he lacks the much needed experience to be President.

Think about this. Say if your child or husband/wife had to have surgery, who would you want to do the surgery. A surgeon with two years of experience or one with around 20 years of experience. I know I would take the one with 20 years of experience.

I personally think all the candidates suck though, and would have loved for Colin Powell to run. Forgive me for such a long post.

Hitler was not Osama Bin-Laden.

Therefore, Hitler was better than Osama?

Please tell me somebody sees the faulty logic in voting for somebody because "He's not Bush."
