Forums in general have made me a pretty good debater.

"Younger" generation? I don't think you are that old...
I think I saw 35 in an earlier thread...That's still plenty young imo. Some scientists are predicting it will become a stanrder for people to live up to 100+ in another couple decades or so. By that standard 35 can still be consider as young, and teens will be kids...
Not entirely sure if that's a good thing though

In a cla$$ I had last spring, they talked about people living to be 150+ in the next generation -short version: we age because cells run out of energy (hence the wrinkles and saggy skin) -so with nanomachines that won't happen...just our parts will wear out[QUOTE="ariz3260"][QUOTE="rawsavon"] I think I saw 35 in an earlier thread...rawsavon

Didn't know you are into that kinda stuff. But I agree it probably will be a big part of our future. With practical application such as prolonging life, combining with bio-tech I think it will eventually be the next big thing in tech.
Speaking of longevity, if people are going to live to such old age it would be even more imperative to live a healthy life. I would hate to be kept alive at such age just because technology can afford it if I have to spend those years on a bed, unable to do a thing...

Of all the things I am interested in, science is not one of them -history, philosophy, psychology, math...but not science -don't get me wrong, I will bask in the fruits of their labor...just not interested in contributing There is a funny movie that deals with eternal life and taking care of your body...'Death Becomes Her' -terrible movie actually, but appropriate for this topic -magic potion = eternal life, but have to take care of yourself...one girl gets her stomach shot out with a shotgun, another pushed down the stairs...but they keep on living[QUOTE="btaylor2404"]A better understanding of the "younger" generation, and many friends.WollsHow old are you? 35 to Wolls & ariz3560.

Okay okay, since 2003 I've actually about 120lbs. Which is more than I initially weighed, kind of scary. Although my infrequent cameo appearances on this forum can hardly be blamed entirely to my weight gain, most of that stems from diet.
Quite a bit frome OTsuch as a bunch of news articles that I would have never found, a free video player, knowledge about different bands, and much more I'm quite sure that I am not thinking about.
Understanding, a load of good jokes and humor, knowledge and random facts, and of course entertainment! And also I've gained bad grades on homework because it wasn't done... lol
