What if a different religion was correct?

What if Christianity was wrong, and another god existed? As an example, what if Allah existed and Islam was correct? Would you wish you had been a Muslim during our lifetime? Would you repent for the sin you comminted, while in the Islamic hell?

This is hypothetical and mainly directed to Christians.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this... but all monotheistic religions are damn near identical. Christianity, Judaism, Muslim, all of these religions are pretty much the exact same concept. I don't understand why they have to be so stupid and childish about disagreeing with each other all the time. They should realize they all totally suck.THETRUEDOZAH

I'm going to ignore that last incredibly ignorant comment, and respond to your question.

The difference between the religions are great. The biggest difference is Christ the Messiah. Christians, obviously, believe that Jesus Christ was the promised Messiah. Jews are still waiting for God's Messiah, and Muslims don't believe a mesiah is coming (I may be wrong on the last point, I'm slightly fuzzy on some parts of Islam).

Technically, God, Allah, and Yahweh are all the same god, just followed by different people... I don't know what I believe, although I DO believe in something...

quibbling details. You must learn to see the big picture. Their precepts, doctrine, and origin are all nigh identical. You can cite any number of minor discrepancies, but that doesn't change the fact that fundamentally they are the same.THETRUEDOZAH

Minor discrepancies nothing, it's major differences in tenets of faith. It's why they're completely different religions.
