The only way to get past that is ignore it.

I don't think Obama will win, but I'd vote for him if I was able to. I don't think there will be riots, just the joy of McCain's supporters and disappointment of Obama's. And then America will invade Iran, and it's all downhill from there.

I try to sometimes, but once you start to win, they repeat their first arguement evey single time you say something in an attempt to silence you, and it also makes other people turn against you, because they don't want to go against what the majority says.

I was arguing this with a guy yesterday. After I told him HE was the racist by putting value on the color of skin at all, he started yelling:

"YOU'RE JUST A WHITE SUPREMACIST."

Over and over. That was his first arguement, and when you start winning, it just goes back to whatever they can say that is the most dramatic.

Personally i have a hard time understanding this obama hype. Whats the difference know and when kerry and gore was running they have the same platform. The only difference is that gore and kerry had experience.

Since I have started using these forums early last year, it seems like when you say something good about a Republican 4 or 5 Democrats have to open their mouths and bash you until you just stop posting. If you do not back down though it seems like they get pissed and do pull the same arguments and points over and over and over again. I never try to let someone beat me in an argument. I just keep going if I have to.
