What if the world does end in 2012? Are you afraid?

There are thousands (if not more) people that truly believe that the world will end in 2012. Some atleast believe its a possability. Either way, 2012 will be a significant and memorable year. Nibiru Collisionpretty much a conspiracy theory. Fascinating nonetheless.

Firstly I don't believe that the World will end in 2012. Secondly I wouldn't be scared because if it did I would know that everyone is going to die along with me, plsu I've got my 3DS. :P

It's going to end at some point. I doubt it will be 2012, but the sun is going to go supernova at sometime. Or an asteroid will wipe us out.

Yes. The world is going to end on December 21, 2012, just because an ancient culture that we borrow no other ideas from thought the stars said so. Just like the world ended on June 6, 2006. Just like the world ended with Y2K.

I would also like to add that Nibiru is fake. If it was going to hit us next year it would be visible in the sky.

I believe regardless of what year it is right now there is a ton on our plate to deal with for the next 150 years. Yes count me in as one who thinks something could happen in errr next year.

Everyone said the world was going to end in 1999, and it didn't. It has to end sometime but I don't think it will be in our generation.

Even if I did believe the world was going to end in 2012, why would I be afraid? Why fear the inevitable? It's pointless.

I'm looking foreward to it actually. I just want to see what happens.

Sure that's the logical response, but humans aren't always logical creatures, especially in high pressure situations. Also, death is scary to people. If it wasn't, murder would be legal.

My fear is that it will happen before Duke Nukem Forever comes out.

If it does happen... same can be said for either, but if it does it had better be something cool that happens in spawn waves.

I will never be able to retire. My future is bleak and miserable. If i have to go on much longer, i will probably be living in a box somewhere eating cat food. I would rather just get it all over with a big bang.

Maybe you're right. I just can't see how an impending doom wouldn't worry someone at least a little bit. If I found out I had cancer, the last thing I would think to myself is "Well I'm bound to die someday anyway", even though that's actually true. As living biological creatures, we're designed to cling to life and fear death.

Assuming we'll know months in advance if the world is going to actually end in 2012, I'll be camping outside of Lucas Ranch and hopping in a Millenium Falcon with George Lucas and getting the hell out of here. But it's not going to end in 2012 so no worries. Like I always say, if the Mayans weren't smart enough to keep their civilization alive, than how the hell would they have been smart enough to predict when the world is going to end....

I can tell you when, how and why the world will end;

In the year3978 A.D.

4 astronauts who are in hibernation will crash land on a planet after a2006-year voyage at near-light speed. This planetis run by Apes and humans are treated as nothing more thanferal vermin and are hunted and either killed outright, enslaved for manual labor, or used for scientific experimentation.

Only 1 of theastronauts survive the landing and the first incounter with the apes of this would, and with the help of 2 of the apes he escapes from them with a natve female human. They are taken to an area of the world where the apes have deemed to be off limits to all, and there the humans find the remains of a civilized humansociety. After an encouter with one of the leaders of the apes who find them and the human astronaut spares the apes life he and the native human are let go. After travaling a bit the 2 humans find the remains of somthing which tells them where they really are: the Statue of Liberty.

Anotherastronaut crash lands on the planet looking for the fist 4, he finds the woman that was travaling along with the firstastronaut and they both go looking for him. They come into contact with the same apes that the fist man did and find out they are going toinvade the Forbidden Zone, conquer it, and use it as a potential food source, against the objections of the leader. As the 2 humans are trying to escape from the military eith the help from the same apes that helped the fist person they hide in theruins of a sub-way,sparking the realization that he has traveled to Earth's post-apocalyptic future. Theyare captured and telepathically interrogated, and Brent reveals the apes are marching on the Forbidden Zone. The telepaths attempt to repel the apes by using their mental abilities to project illusions of fire and other horrors. The leadersees through the illusions, however, and leads the ape army through to the ruined city. With the apes closing in, the telepaths plan to detonate their "Divine Bomb" as a last resort. They hold a religious ceremony, at the height of which they remove their masks to reveal that their appearance has been grotesquely mutated by centuries of exposure to nuclear fallout.

After a fight from all sides, the humans, apes and the mutants the"Divine Bomb" is activated and all life on the planet is wiped out.
