Cello, no question. Beautiful, wide range of sounds which can create a variety of atmopheres and I just love it. Lessons are probably very expensive though, probably some of the highest.
I've wanted one for a while, but I don't want to spend the money on one since I probably wouldn't take it seriously. And even if I did I probably don't have good enough pitch to ever be really good at it, but they look really fun to play around with. This guy knows whats down.
I'd also consider violin and harpsichord.

A friend of mine is getting one soon, **** will be so awesome.
Guitar, though I've played it for over 10 years I cannot solo. I would love to learn how to thrash like Mustaine. I can play alot of lead riffs, but never lead solos. Not even close. It saddens my metal.
Free lessons? Does this include getting the instrument for free?
If so I'd have to say tenor saxophone. I actually need to learn it. Just a little expensive. D:
Guitar or piano, those are the only instruments I've seriously been interested in. So I chose other.
I can already play some guitar but I could always get better. :)
An electric guitar is an ordinary guitar. It makes me so mad when people call an acoustic guitar an ordinary one. But none of them. I can play an instrument without lessons. I taught myself all of the instruments I play besides clarinet. So what instrument would you pick? A guitar, keyboars, drums, etc. No, air instruments like an air guitardo not count.
