[QUOTE="Dark__Link"]Depends on the course. For the core courses I took in college, like the physics and calculus sequences, anything less than an A is a failure to me. That material is far too easy to not get an A. For the harder engineering courses I've taken (like say, "Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics of Turbomachinery"), a B isn't so bad.ShmiityYou think Calculus is too easy? I feel like a dumbass on these forums haha. My math career ended with algebra 2 (and I thought that was hard!!!) and statistics. I'm never taking trigonometry or calculus in my college career. I'm an engineering major... that should explain it. :P

Always aim for an A+. Your uni grades are often used when you go for jobs so I try to get the best grades possible. If it's an easy subject, then A- to A+ are really the only acceptable grades. To be honest though, if it's a really hard paper, I don't care if I get an A+ or a C- as long as I pass it.

Grades are a number on a piece of paper. Dont let them control you.
this, pretty muchShoot for an A, usually get a B and am satisfied. I'm alright with a C. D and F is kind of a failure

I don't really value how others grade me. It's how I grade myself that matters the most. I've failed a few courses before, it never really bothered me. I couldn't' take them serious enough because they had nothing to offer me on an intellectual level. Anyways, getting good grades is more about social interaction, and work ethic. My work ethic isn't directed at impressing other people, so, it's to be expected I get poor grades from time to time.
Now that I think about it... that's kinda how I am for the most part.A for major courses and electives
mrbojangles25
C for everything else
Passing, but usually I really aim for a B. I'm in an assembly language programming course right now, and got an 85 on my last program. I was considerably bummed, as I previously scored 99 on the first two. For the first time in my life, I felt like an asian kid.
