What is Art???

Art is elusive.

Art is only truly found when design of a thing, action, or idea deeply resonates with one or more of the many complexities of the observer's Mind, Idea, or Personality.

When one observer tries to influence another observer about their idea of art, there is always conflict as separate minds are always different.

Any established standard of art is only upheld socially, which can in fact pervert one's mind to believe something is not art when it in fact is (in reference to one's own perspective), or vice versa.

Therefore, art can be absolutely anything.

Yup.

Like paintings and stuff.

Any representation of expression that isportrayed in our world. Whether is music or a painting.. so long as it exist. It all varies on the person actually. Anything can be art IMHO, even how you choose to kill a person.

For me it's:

a) something that evokes feelings or thoughts to the viewer/listener etc

b) is the result of conscious or subconscious "planning" of a creator, an array of arranged (yay alliteration) elements in a purposeful or at least interpretable fashion that evokes said emotions/thoughts

This is my inevitably vague definition (curse you ineffability) that I thought up.

i find art everywhere from games to music to dance to drawing hell i look at cars and buildings and farm them a form of art
