I think one theory is that space curves so that if you went far enough out you would be back where you started. as for what is out of the universe, no one honestly knows.HewkiiYes, but the universe would probably have collapsed again before you could travel that far.
You can't reach the 'end of space' because the space between here and the 'edge' is expanding faster than the speed of light, which is the theoretical speed limit.dainjah1010

Or maybe its like astroids where you go through one side and you appear through the other side. Like you can only go so far and you start going in a circle.Space by definition is not a physical object but simply the lack of any physical properties. The same way that black isnt a color but the abscence of any color.
Given that, i think its safe to say that space could plausibly be infinite. And probably is.
