I had a couple of classes on logic during my classes (comp sci major here). Just the name "logic" doesn't really help narrow it down. One was studying various logical systems, such as modal logic and predicate logic, by which logical arguments may be modeled and examined. One was studying logic itself on a meta-level, dealing more with the examination of proving things about logical systems themselves. I imagine that your class would likely be closer to the former than the latter (the latter was called "theoretical logic"), but I can't say for certain. I enjoyed both classes, although I must confess that I enjoyed the second one much less than the first one.
EDIT: Sorry, I somehow missed that you were in high school, not college. In that case, I imagine that your class will very likely be the first of the two options. Or, as others have suggested, it might be studying logic as a general topic on a wider and less deep scale. Can't say for sure, obviously.
