i like it because of some nice features that it has.

for example I have FoxTunes which places a little "remote control" on the bottom of the window that lets me control Itunes without having to maximize Itunes window. I think it's pretty neat.

Also, I have this add on that linkifies any address that appears as text. It's pretty useful in this forum when people don't linkify the URL's

Safari is faster than Firefox, and displays text much better too. ^_^SolidSnake35

The beta version was so bad that I never tried it again.

I've used FF for a few years now and when I use IE I feel the need to vomit. I don't even know why...that's what is scary.FragStains

im in the same boat... about a year ago I downloaded firefox... and well ive never looked back. But whenever I go on IE i just simopply cant stand it, it seems so slow and clumsy even though they are both very similar. Maybe theres some subliminal messages on FF?

It's better than IE.....that's all you really need to know.....though there have been times where Opera totally pwns both of them.

[QUOTE="ElBanano216"]At this point, the extensions.....Firefox has about just as many flaws as IE doesALTER_duo

this is true but Opera doesnt work on GS....

Opera works fine on GS if you disable the WYSIWYG editor. The editor used to work fine in Opera but recently it stopped working properly.

IE7 is a slower and more rubbish version of Firefox, with worse add-ons.

I just like the security that mozilla offers unlike IE8. and it also stops popups and I also like how you store your bookmarks on mozilla. I switch to mozilla a few years back and dont plan on going back.

[QUOTE="EJ902"][QUOTE="xooco"]designing for it is hellChicaQueenWarGa

I agree with that, the web pages I design are usually rather simplistic, and even then IE's usually the only one to mess up.

And...Someone beat Microsoft to a webpage.

LOL! That is awesome...

I have been using Firefox for a while now and just love it. Whenever I use IE, its just.. ugh. Theres nothing about it that is better than Firefox IMO.

AdBlock Plus and No Script. The two things that IE doesn't have that pretty much assure a safe and secure internet browsing experience.

Firefox is the greatest thing to happen to internet since websites. IE is by far the worst browser in the world. I used it for over 2 months before getting firefox and I have to say never have I seen a more pathetic excuse for a browser.
