They are entertainment. For around the same price of seeing a movie you can go out with your buddies and hit up a strip club instead. They're a blast if you're into women. Going to an all nude joint beats a little snot-nosed kid kicking your seat for 2 hours any day of the week.

Holy four asterisks! I haven't been to a theater for roughly 15-20 years. I have no idea how much they charge for the cinema now, but if going out to a strip club is cheaper... the cinema must bean epic rape.

It's basically like paying to have a filet mignon dangled in front of you and perhaps rubbed across your face for a period of time, during and after which you get to taste nothing.

i cant legally go into one yet so i dunno. but it sounds fun

Just the thought of strip clubs kinda makes me uncomfortable. Not about the fact that there is a half naked chick dancing right in front of me. It's just when I picture the kind of people that actually go there, I see lonely scruffy unkempt middle aged men drinking their lives away, and I don't wanna feel associated with such sadness. However I do like me some Hooters.

regular sized its a cinemark theater its not huge screens like the stadium seating I have been to but I have been to other more expensive places that are the same size.AutoPilotOn

There was when I used to go (mid 80's-early 90's) at a couple of clubs in Oklahoma City. There wasn't a hint of skankiness at all with the women back then either. Even the waitresses who took food and drink orders were totally naked (they also did lap dances on request).The cops did crack down eventually though. But, I had lots of fun while it lasted.

If the women now look skanky, it's more a sign of the times. Nowadays, what passes for star beauty looks skanky to me at least here in the US....just look at nudie mag issues then and now.

That's a club rule, not a federal law. So it depends on the club.

I really don't know what the appeal is, but I saw my history teacher there once! :lol: :P

I've never been. I can understand some of the reasons why people both would or wouldn't enjoy them, though. I guess part of it depends how much you enjoy just watching....
